Well, let me see here, Bob invented APRS, has worked at it for
coming on two decades and to my continuing amazement keeps putting up
with this kind of ill mannered abuse that anyone who disagrees with
him pumps up with some regularity ... and yet he still keeps coming
up with new ideas long after many of the flashes in the pan have
fizzled ...
... so my choice is between the guy who invented APRS and has a
vision of how it should be and the other guy who has a new,
conflicting vision, and has chosen an ad hominem attack instead of
offering a counter argument ... or me the choice is easy!

You just don't get it ... by translating RELAY and WIDE, NOONE
EVER SEES WHAT'S WRONG! That's not Elmering. That's avoiding the
issue! Albeit well intentioned, but ... dare I say it? It's WRONG!

NO, be happy they are gone if they leave and rejoice if they chose
to find out it why it doesn't work and fix it. That is how the real
world works.
