The 13 ton Mitsubishi-Fuso truck I drive has an "AUTMATIC" transmission,
according to the sticker on the door. Most of us have seen instructions and
manuals for various types of equipment we own or operate which contain english
words but are obviously not written in english ... I have come up with a name
for this language - Japanenglish.

Y'know, it's wonderful how you can take a computer program, shove words
into it in one language and have it spew out words in another language. But,
unless someone that's actually familiar with that second language *reads* them
before publication, the result is frequently gobbledygook! 73

PS: I wonder why the spellchecker in my e-mail program is flagging the words
"english" and "spellchecker" but is not balking at "Japanenglish"!?
