Yeah, I'll have to add that I've had no problems flying with a laptop,
D7, GPS, and extra antennas, coiled cables, etc in my carry-on bag.
I've never even had anyone ask to see them work or anything.  I used to
get asked to see my laptop turn on but no more...

Go figure.
