looking at the list of dependencies i'd surely appreciate a working  
portfile... :) though now i tried darwinports myself and it fails  
finding libpng12, so here again, i'm hacking all the dependencies by  
hand again, so i guess you might just start from scratch aswell :) if  
i manage to build it, i'd send you the binary, though - if u like.  
10.4.9 PPC here...
