[aprssig] Re: aprssig Digest, Vol 35, Issue 8

As the Hi-Jacker of KCAPRS, I will tell you the organization, which had
fallen into disuse at the hands of KU0G, now has over 160 members, and is
very active.  The new organization has been instrumental in bringing new
software to the users, and getting it installed on a wide userbase
throughout Kansas & Missouri, and creating a welcoming cooperative
environment, rather than a policing organization.  We have also been the
first organization to make overlay files available with repeater data from
Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska, & South Dakota.  I encourage anyone
who is interested in moving the hobby forward to check out our website,
www.kcaprs.org and join us.  Prior to our "hi-jack" the website hadn't been
updated in years, and no one in KC was involved.

I will not say anything about KU0G, because if you know him, or have ever
dealt with him, I don't need to.
