We had a good HamSCI telecon yesterday. Notes are below. The videos are archived here:

The next telecon will be Thursday, April 30th @ 3 PM EDT.  Diego will be giving a presentation on his latest work with LSTIDs and searching for their sources. Steve WA5FRF may be giving a presentation on separating out WWV from WWVH in HF Doppler measurements.

We will not have a telecon on May 14th since that is the same day as Contest University, which is now online. Check it out at https://www.contestuniversity.com/course-outline/

Aidan Montare - Working on automatic uploads to Zenodo for CWRU Low-Cost PSWS
Bill Engelke AB4EJ - Working with Scotty and Tom on how to set up channels for TangerineSDR
Carl Luetzelschwab K9LA - WWV to WA5FRF. Steve Cerwin sent EZNEC model of antenna to Carl. Polarization doesn't not seem to be an issue. For TID research, NOAA has data from 2017 in area format.
David Kazdan - AD8Y - Working with Kristina Collins and John Gibbons on WWV receiver
Kristina Collins KD8OXT - Now have a weekly WWV receiver telecon on Thursdays at 10 AM. Currently at the point of refining data and metadata format, uploading to Zenodo. Needs to coordinate with Bill AB4EJ on uploading to Alabama. Looking at proposing an AGU session.
John Gibbons - 4 low-cost PSWS stations now active: Kristina Collins, David Kazdan, John Gibbons, and Troy and Frankie Bonte. Working on debugging a RaspberryPi crashing issue.
Scotty WA2DFI - RF Board is now completed. Dave Witten has provided all data on the magnetometer, needs to be productized soon. Scotty explains prototyping and production process.
Dave McGaw - N1HAC - Working on sounding rocket that involves propagation and VLF. Wants to work on ground magnetometer project.
Diego KD2RLM - Working on TID research - looking for substorms in CANMOS data as a TID source.

Diego Sanchez KD2RLM will give a 20 minute presentation next telecon (April 30, 2020) updating on progress of LSTID research.
Steve Cerwin WA5FRF will also tentatively give a presentation on separation of WWV/WWVH measurements.
