[nos-bbs] JNOS Crashing Due To REWRITE File "Errors" - SOLVED?

My comment about the 'r' in the rewrite file, it depends what W6RAY is rewriting. It maybe needed in some situations,
for instance for messages received by nntp . Things like:  *!* $2$1  r   but for normal forwarding traffic received over
telnet  and ax25 axudp / axip links with rewriting to public / private areas you don't need them. In the past I was using
them more but  it makes the rewrite file more complicated and can easily go wrong.
