The first thing I am thinking is you should probably rebuild your index
files, they are binary in nature, 32 bit vs 64 bit, that's trouble :]

If the 'r' was always there, then removing it should not be the 
solution.

I would have to read up on that, sorry Ray, if it's one of those legacy
or default rewrite that you see everywhere, one forgets the purpose I
suppose, I am very guilty of that.

Did you recompile your JNOS binary on the 64 bit system ?
