First let me thank all who responded to my initial post re: 'Bpq <-->Jnos connects & forwarding' and for Maiko’s response below, who’s thread I have hijacked, and all to those who continued to respond to my routing questions.
The good news is I can report SUCCESS! That is: BPQ <-> Jnos is now working and my little test jnos setup is working also, talking to my BPQ!
I won’t bore you with the twists and turns taken to get it all going. Suffice it to say, I was able to get the routing to work correctly but still without being able to ping the router using wireless. Getting rid of wireless in favour of a wired ethernet connection solved that problem, and I have jnos running to the outside world and was able to connect and forward to my VE3 partner with my test setup.
I can remember having this exact problem more than ten years ago — not being able to run jnos from my wireless but it worked over wired ethernet.
With that I wish you all the very best of the season and invite any suggestions as to the wireless problem which still eludes me after all these years.
Best,
jerome - ve7ass
