#1 : Is your box behind a router firewall? If so, make sure the router forwards ports 25 and 110 (depending on your needs) are set to forward to your JNOS box.
 
#2: Have you issued the commands "START SMTP" and "START pop3"
 
#3: There could also be some other 'smtp' and 'pop3' settings that may need tweaked. But start with #1 and #2.

years ago when I ran a gateway my old system could send and receive email from the gateway. now that I got my new system back up. I can send email out of the gate. but nothing is coming into the gate. anyone know why and what I need to do to get the gate to receive email. sure I must have missed something.
