#1 : Is your box behind a router firewall? If so, make sure the router forwards ports 25 and 110 (depending on your needs) are set to forward to your JNOS box.<BR>

#2: Have you issued the commands "START SMTP" and "START pop3"<BR>

#3: There could also be some other 'smtp' and 'pop3' settings that may need tweaked. But start with #1 and #2.<BR>

<TD vAlign=top>years ago when I ran a gateway my old system could send and receive email from the gateway. now that I got my new system back up.
