[nos-bbs] Ubuntu JNOS users - helping me debug crashes ...

Greetings to the Ubuntu users on this group,

I have noticed that debug (gdb) information is very limited in the
crash reports that I have seen or been given. Even if one does the
'bt full' at the gdb prompt for a full backtrace, the debug info and
symbol tables still seem to be missing or very minimal.

After doing some reading, it looks like with Ubuntu, one may need
to install additional packages to get better debugging options.

If I am to try and support Ubuntu, I request that any Ubuntu users
read up the following link and install the appropriate packages so
that when crashes do occur with JNOS 2.0f, then the gdb traces you
send me will at least have something useful in them (I hope) :

If we are to fix these problems, please consider doing this for me.
