It runs here ... generally speaking. There are some things that do not:
for example, forwarding initiated in a direction JNOS --> FBB. In fact,I
still did not manage to activate AXIP tunnel between JNOS box and the
other comp running either LinFBB or WinFBB: To be more precise, I
activated it at JNOS side and partially at WinFBB side - using BPQ32,
but noticed that WinFBB seems not to recognize that BPQ32 is running
there. Under Linux (where I have LinFBB) I also should install a thing
called ax25ipd in order to get an AXIP capability.

Well, I have a 'compilation guru', Nick, who does 1.11f compiling job
for me. Unfortunately he was not able to compile a 2.0 version of JNOS
yet and it makes me wonder if somebody could help with that. I would
like to try an executable compiled for 80286 and if somebody is able to
help, I will send my config.h file.

Until I solve the AXIP issue, I am not sure which protocol I should put
into my FORWARD.BBS file. At the moment, the forwarding block looks
like that:

yt7mpb-9 0023 P <-- FBB calls. differs fm. JNOS in ssid
tcp lan 192.168.1.1 6300	<-- is 'tcp' ok to 'telnet' FBB here?
@
@
+Callsign
@
.<callsign> <-- send callsign to login FBB
+Password
@
.<password> <-- send password to login FBB
!
yt7mpb <-- forwarding areas
nos
amsat
packet
...
...
-------------

I don't know if this file is configured properly. The idea is to
'telnet' FBB machine via Ethernet (home LAN) and exchange email areas,
but, until now, I haven't managed to make it running, using command:

mbox kick yt7mpb-9

... or whatever. In the opposite direction, it works but only with
LinFBB and if I have put 'N 0' in FBB's forwarding block

Yep, it looks to me as a bug in WinFBB 7.00i version. Until now I did
not need to look for selective retrieval. I tried to search for a
parameter in JNOS that handles the length of incoming messages, because
I noticed that it can't handle anything longer than 10 kb (just stops
until timeout).

Will check it soon ..

Btw, I am sure that we need some more practical manual, say,
step-by-step approach. I tried to do something like that in my own howto
and plan to add a section with JNOS (after I learn how to do that :-))
