Well, it is a matter of steep learning curve and I seem to getting old :-)

The next trouble is my intention to use the ancient equipment (80286) in
a situation where the most of hams suggest: throw it away and get some
new hardware :-)

You are right, but what to do in a case when a system 'freezes' due to a
very large incoming mail. As I said, I use 80286 with only 1 MB RAM for
JNOS and it looks like that whenever it receives something greater than
say 10-12 kB it stops until timeout. The next fwd session - the same.
The only thing I can do in such situation is to make a list of what is
queued at FBB (command FL <jnos_callsign> ) and remove greater mails
from the queue. The next session is then going ok.

Yes, and also FBB has a possibility to send personal mails *before*
bulletins. That is fine too for your purpose.

Well whatever documentation you are going to make - that's fine for
beginners. I appreciate that. I have also been doing something similar
with FBB howto for Linux users (http://tldp.org/howto/FBB.html).

No problem, let me know the exact web address it is located so I could
see how it looks like.

Well I plan to add some JNOS experimentations' ideas to incorporate into
the existing Linux FBB howto, but I wouldn't mind if you use it for Wiki
or whatever - as long as you give me some credit (or a cold beer :-))

PS: In fact, I want to explore JNOS capabilities in the local area
network (home lan) before I try something on the air. The problem is
that I have been using variants of FBB for a while and other mailbox
designs and approaches seem difficult now.
