It appears that "ax25 default ..." is not in the jnos2.0e vocabulary.

Here is the clincher: "c k8rra" is OK only when NET/ROM has GHWEST:K8RRA
in the active table.  Otherwise the command is a bust.  And NET/ROM
feature is the crux of my observation - the command syntax is not the
same for both the BBS and the SYSOP..

My interest is not very much tied to "how to use" jnos - or parametrize
it.
My interest is to explain to users that the approach to the function
connect (not "connect" the command) is different from the two screens.
So given the clarification - what now my friend?
