The one constant seems to be: Get close then tweek a little.

In the past year I have not seen a good "tuning the radio" guide using various TNC models.
If anyone has, I'd love to see it?

WInlink2K needed a standard convention. I am looking at
the MBO list right now, and for pactor2 they use 1400/1600
tone pairs. pactor2 can be inverted, like packet can.
They publish the frequencies as CENTER. For Dial
frequency you subtract 1.5. N7QDN is on 14.069.9 center,
and the software does the math for you and insists
14.068.4 USB is your correct dial freq.

SInce airmail may be used for some of these forwarding ideas,
maybe the Winlink2K guidelines should be followed. Would
be a lot easier for end-users if Jnos is put into service
as an alternative to the standard MBO.

    73,
