Let's put forward these three options taken from the manual:
TOnes=0[LOW] default:1200/1400 USB/subtract=>10,125.60
TOnes=1[HIGH] other:2300/2100 LSB&FSK/add=>10,129.10
TOnes=3[SET] set by user=> you're on your own...

The whole topic is confusing.
You chose to calibrate on MARK, yet some others specify centerline
MARK/SPACE frequency.
In SCS Pactor mode MARK/SPACE frequencies may be reversed, in RTTY no
reversal permitted.
In SCS a TR parameter reverses MARK-SPACE
In SCS default Mark is higher than SPACE - in KAM-98 MARK must be
specified less than SPACE.
Some other TNC? Then some other set of rules (and the list goes on)...
The one constant seems to be: Get close then tweek a little.
In the past year I have not seen a good "tuning the radio" guide using
various TNC models.
If anyone has, I'd love to see it?
