[nos-bbs] idea for email reception

after some problems of my jnos crashing when recieving amsat-bb messages 
via smtp and getting spamed within the day of opening the smtp server to 
the internet  started looking for a selution.
for the crashing I initialy open a popaccount on another domain I had so 
I could recieve the amsat-bb messages via pop3 but that still leaves the 
spam problem.
Today I saw a return mail from someone who was using an external 
spamfilter, it turns out that this free filter is placed in the mx 
record of your domain and your old mx record is entered into the system 
so virus and spam get caught before even comming into the system, this 
also eliminates attacks on your smtp port and divert badly configured 
mailservers to the spam filter getting rid of the crashes, you can set 
your firewall to filter out all connects to port 25 except the servers 
from the spamfilter.

I´m not in the habit of promoting one vendor or another especialy on a 
mailing list but feel free to ask me directly for the url if you are
