I loged a few forwarding sessions with winlink, maybe it is of use:

http://www.snafru.com/pe1rdw/raw.log 3 sessions with all the retries etc.

http://www.snafru.com/pe1rdw/striped.log same 3 session with retries 
etc. removed

http://www.snafru.com/pe1rdw/none.log 1st session with no mail on both 
sides (retries etc. removed)

http://www.snafru.com/pe1rdw/out.log 2nd session with outgoing mail, 
forward failed (retires etc. removed)

http://www.snafru.com/pe1rdw/in.log 3th session with incoming mail, 
forward succeded (retries etc. removed)
