Hi Maiko,

I copied smisc.c from my old source as you did forget to include it :=)

Would it not be better to include ipudp as option
on the encap route line instead?

(leaving lines without this option as default ipip to be compatible
with older versions of jnos)

I attached routes with ipip and ipudp but I don't see any difference
in the displayed routes.

jnos> ro
Destination Len Interface Gateway Metric P Timer Use
44.1.1.1 32 encap 192.168.9.9 1 man 0
44.2.2.2 32 encap 152.1.2.3 1 man 0

44.1.1.1 via ipip
44.2.2.2 via ipudp

Subject: [nos-bbs] JNOS 2.0 - it's a start

Greetings all,

I've decided to start a new JNOS distribution, mostly because
of all the mods that have been appearing. If nobody minds, I've
decided to call it JNOS 2.0. It is JNOS 1.11f + mods (past and
future) + bug fixes + compiler issue fixes + linker issue fixes,
and so on and so on ... LINUX ONLY !!!

If anyone objects to me naming it JNOS 2.0, or if there are any
ownership/rights issues I should be aware of, please do tell me,
thank you.

Documentation is limited, I just wanted everyone to know that this
project is now a reality and I'll work on it as time permits. This is
just the start - I am already running it at home in BETA mode and so
far so good (I'm not expecting any problems since all I've done is
taken the lastest mods, and fixed some minor compiler warnings).

For those who want to BETA test it, please visit this site :

  http://www.langelaar.net/projects/jnos2/index.html

SORRY : no NOSaprs yet, I plan on merging it in soon. I don't
want to rush this. It is JNOS 1.11f + AXUDP + dyndns support
for BOTH the AXUDP and AXIP wormholes + IPUDP support + REMOTE
client/server support for the IPUDP routing.

Regards,

Maiko Langelaar / VE4KLM
