I have used jnos for years on my cable modem for doing ftp and telnet, but i stopped using it for a year, and now i return and whenever I try to send or recieve a large data segment the data flow "Locks up". jnos doesnt lock, i can still open new sessions, and i can say, ping ftp.cdrom.com. but if i do a ping ftp.cdrom.com 1000 then it will hang.

I sort, of resolved it by setting a very low segment size and window, mss 250 window 250. that works but is painfully slow. i always used to use mss 1500 and window 3000.
The only thing that has changed since the last time i used it is the fact that the cable modem network has grown to the point that about 100 packets per second of broadcast ARP traffic is taking place on the network.

I thought i had this problem once before in the past and it had something to do with the buffers in the attach statement. here is what i am doing now:

attach packet 0x60 eth0 10 1500 <IP ADDR>

See anything wrong?
this is not jnos2, this is the last version that ka1nnn modded, custom compiled for 8088.

any help appreciated.
