[hfsig] WsprryPi sends tone only for a few seconds

I'll have to try it with an older OS.
If that works, I'll see what I can do to help characterize the problem, and
maybe help with a fix.

I did try running it from the console, without the GUI, but got the same
results.
Next I'll try commenting out the sound card module.

I don't get hangs or crashes. And the second time I run PiCW, it (usually,
but not always)
starts working again for a few seconds. But the OS seems to be fine. The
GUI runs fine,
I can surf the web, send these emails, etc.
