[aprssig] APRS-IS: frames bypassing server filter

Interesting. Once I finally found a Tier2 server that supported UDP-Submit, my packets got through, but the ",qAO,mycallsign" I put in the submissions was replaced with ",qAU,T2EDM" (T2EDM being the Tier2 server I was using). Makes sense, but should I have specified that in the first place?

Actually, how much _should_ be specified in the digipeat path for a UDP submission?Andrew, KA2DDOauthor of YAAC

Stephen, I gave you 3 methods to do not receive packets from APRS-IS for gated stations today: use UDP or HTTP send-only ports, or use port 14580 on the Firenet servers.  Since you "have to" receive a packet to a rx-only IGate (satellite object), #3 is your solution.73,Pete Loveall AE5PLpete at ae5pl dot net-----Original Message-----From: aprssig <aprssig-bounces at lists.tapr.org> On Behalf Of Stephen H.
