I doubt this will work, but I also wonder why anyone would want to.

You can EBay a U-Blox Neo 6 for under $7, $10 if you don't want to wait a couple weeks for shipping from China, another $1 for RS232 converter, and junk box power and case. Easier and more reliable than a cell phone gps.
