On Tue, Nov 01, 2016 at 02:20:58PM -0400, we recorded a bogon-computron collision of the <spam8mybrain at yahoo.com> flavor, containing:

To clarify, you can ask a YAAC instance, through the standard APRS text message mechanism, to report its current Aloha circle, and it will send it as a NWS multiline. The directed query command is

I, too, use the multiline protocol in a little ELT DFing data reduction program,
to produce error ellipses that are transmitted over APRS to be displayed
around computed fix locations. It works very well.

I've got a Qt C++ and a straight C implementation, both GPL'd and available
to anyone who would like to copy it. The C implementation is buried, unused,
inside Xastir's "util.c" file (https://github.com/Xastir/Xastir/blob/master/src/util.c),
and the C++ variant can be found in APRS.cpp of qDF
(https://github.com/tvrusso/qDF/blob/master/APRS.cpp).

I put it into Xastir thinking we'd eventually get Xastir to transmit its
"CAD objects" using this technique, but that never got implemented.
