[aprssig] VX-150 DTMF memory?

Found a bug in the Vertex Standard VX-150 DTMF memory. Any workarounds?



This won’t allow this radio to be used for Autopatch or APRStt or anything
that needs the * or # key!

The manual says you can store any of the 16 keys in DTMF memory, but for
us, it wont take the * or # key.



You can only enter digits with the rotary dial and it does not go through *
or #.



And you cannot just add the * or # on the fly, before-or-after because you
have to do multiple presses to get it into and out of DTMF memory mode and
the delay of all that is too long.



Anyone know a workaroiund?
