I’ve been beefing up the monitoring tools in findU to go with the new server. One thing I created is a measure of the packets received by findU through both the APRS-IS and CWOP networks. I was immediately surprised by a near doubling of the traffic for a period of five minutes at a time. This happens at irregular intervals spaced roughly 20-26 hours apart. A quick query of my raw data table showed a single station was responsible for the increase. In about five minutes the station sends about 20,000 packets, mostly consisting of consecutively numbered telemetry like this.

I’ve emailed his QRZ email address twice without response. Anyone else have a way to get in touch? Even if he answers me I’m not sure what to tell him, other than STOP IT;-) Anyone ever seen anything like this?
