[aprssig] Packet question

Hello

 

I am running a satgate and I have UI-VIEW running with "VK4TEC"

 

I can then set by command the callsign of my TNC to "VK4TEC-8"

 

MYCALL VK4TEC-8

 

If I then send a packet via the ISS, should UI-VIEW pass my packet ? to the
APRS-IS ?

 

It should just think VK4TEC-8 is another station independant of VK4TEC
