[aprssig] Received packet question

A quick question regarding definition of what exactly is being sent by
a local station.

I have been receiving APRS packets at my iGate, and also seeing
packets on the -IS from a local station with this routing info:

457 via WIDE1-1,WIDE2-2,qAR,KC9HIY (received at my end)
457,TCPIP*,qAC,FIRST (seen over APRS-IS)


I understand the routing to my station except for the 457, which I've
tried to look up to no avail.  Does anyone know what this is?

Also, can anyone explain the routing info of the packet sent to the -IS?
