It is the KPC3+ that introduces delays. The myth for ages was that it was UI-View.
I proved it myself that it was the TNC. The same symptom was exhibited by
XASTIR, but again, it is a TNC problem. Restarting UI-View would take the
TNC out of KISS mode. The same can be done by setting it to "com port none"
and saving the settings and then selecting the correct com port again. as others
indicated today, simply power cycling the TNC will do the job too.

I used to think that it was only ver 9.1 but last year, someone offered evidence
that earlier versions did it too.
