[aprssig] InPulse Watch for APRS?

I have been reading some info on the InPulse programmable watch (http://www.getinpulse.com/) and one of the first things that came to mind was some kind of APRS application.  Without a GPS, it can't be a tracker, but it could be used to display some really useful APRS information.

It has a Bluetooth link, so robbing data from a BT enable phone would be possible.  That would most likely leave the option to get GPS data from the phone, use that to determine APRS stations close to you and then display that information on the watch.

Does anyone else think this would be a neat APRS toy?
