APRSdroid will run in the background on my Motorola Droid 1where
U2APRS doesn't.

U2APRS is very slick and has messaging with text
to speech for received messages.

I'm using APRSdroid for the fact that I can check email, and listen to Mp3's
knowing the APRSdroid is faithfully beaconing in the background.

A feature I would like to see on APRSdroid is GPS on demand. The GPS goes
active just long enough to to get a fix and then shuts down until the next
packet is to be sent. This feature is available on on U2APRS.
