The script just connects and send the object and then disconnects.

Ummm... did you mean port 14501?

What - I've got to do all of the work myself? hi! I worked my way down the
list - just of the ones in North America! I could ping all except these three...

missouri.aprs2.net
southwest.aprs2.net
westtn.aprs2.net

According to the status pages, they are running. Kinda sounds like
a DNS issue, but I didn't do any further digging.
