Let's just say that there are those that scream about laws and rules and 
regulations as "the way" instead of understanding that every law, rule and 
regulation we have is meant to protect the safety and security of those 
involved.  If you are taking that on, with your actions under consideration, are 
you breaking the law/rule?  Sure you are.  Are you wrong?  In many cases, 
including the use of RF, the fact that property or life is at risk, outweighs 
the laws.

People, please stop the nonsense.  If you understand what turning the break off 
does, then you'd understand, that once the breaker is off, you are no longer on 
the mains, you have an independently wired system that you can do whatever the 
heck you want with, and the only thing that I would consider the law should say, 
is that you can't go back on the mains until you have a licensed inspection occur.

Just saying its wrong, irresponsible and against the law is, for me, a 
reflection of peoples in ability to contribute to problem solving around them in 
general, and probably represents a portion of the population that still has not 
laid the phone down, and has the power company on speed dial.

Solving the problem yourself is what we need people to do.  Is it important to 
follow appropriate steps of safety and dealing with the "issues" of the rules 
and regulations?  That is the key point to understand!  If you don't understand 
why there is a law/rule, then probably you don't need to be doing this yourself 
either.
