Many people think of Skycommand as an individual's own private
link to his remote HF transceiver. But there is another way to
implement it so that everyone in a club can use it and monitor
it.

Just use a common call, common PL tone, and common freqs. Then
anyone in the club with an APRS/skycommand mobile or HT can set
SKYCOMMAND mode and either control the club radio, or MONITOR
what someone else is doing.

In otherwords the display on ALL of these mobiles will display
the HF Controls just like it does for the one controlling. So
as the controlling mobile dials around in frequency, everyone
else can see what they are hearing, and participate in the
"net".

See www.aprs.org/skycommand.html

And you don't even need an APRS/skycommand radio. ANY radio
with PL and with a spare TNC can be used for displaying and
controlling skycommand.
