The EFJ press release quoted in the Urgent Comms article says:

"EFJ is selling the technology and working to develop new microphone 
models under a contractual deal with Infinity Gear, the original 
manufacturer, said Kevin Nolan, EFJ’s spokesperson."   

Don't know if they are REALLY the real mfr and not just a reseller 
though......
