[aprssig] Nuvi 350 still on sale thru the end of Aug 09 WEB Only

The nuvi isn't directly NMEA compatible, but the GTRANS cable translates 
the protocol.  You can use the GTRANS-KW version (intended for the 
D700/D710) on some DSTAR radios by switching two wires on the serial 
side.  Why Icom and Kenwood couldn't use the same pinout on the 2.5mm 
plug I don't know.
