[aprssig] Nuvi-350 Station Symbols

Exactly right. Also, remember that you need the D710 in Kenwood
waypoint mode to get symbols at all - otherwise you'll just get dots or
flags.

As for the display of names and symbols at different scales, the nuvi
apparently has some magic algorithm that it uses to decide when it can
fit names and such on the screen. It depends on how much map detail you
have enabled, what else is close to it, and how far in you're zoomed.

I've captured a bunch of screen shots to build an animation of a car
moving through a static map, and you can see even non-moving labels
shuffle around a bit as the car comes through, and I think the label on
the car shifts from being printed below to being above the icon.

The problem I had with the official POI upload capability in FMI v2 on
my nuvi 750 was that even though I could create items on the map, they
didn't show up AT ALL until you zoomed in to almost the lowest level.
And the required scale changed if you panned the map. I think they may
have fixed that now. Let's hope they get it more consistent if and when
they make an official real-time waypoint function.

On the 350, with medium-high detail, I don't think I'm missing any local
stations. I can't always see the labels at all zoom levels, though.
