[aprssig] Inserting NMEA Data to APRS-IS

Hi,

 

The local Red Cross amateur radio support service (RECOM) currently runs an
HF voice and data tracking system using PACTOR. They receive and extract the
station callsign and GPS NMEA data from the system at their HQ and place it
into a time stamped file every 10 minutes.

 

They would like to be able to automatically load this data into APRS-IS.

 

Would it be acceptable to do this?

If so is there anything available that will automatically take a
preformatted file and load it into APRS-IS?
