Yep!  That's why I do on-air testing and check for my signal getting
digipeated by the digi's I think should hear me.  Allowing for some
collisions as well, 'cuz I know they aren't going to hear me every
time, particularly in a hot APRS area like this one.

If everyone was running open-squelch and had properly tuned
receivers and levels, one could run a shorter TXD and be just fine.
