With the changes happening to the 40m band, the New Zealand NZART has published a document proposing changes to our bandplan to make best use of these changes (e.g. the freeing up of 7.1-7.2 from broadcasters)

Currently there are interesting experiments in using 40m for APRS in Australia and New Zealand based on the existing band plans, but obviously a QSY will be in order when a new bandplan is adopted.
As the single 30m APRS frequency for worldwide use has worked well in all the different parts of the world (as far as I know), I wondered if we should be looking at a near-future worldwide 40m APRS frequency that complies with everybody's bandplans, and vice versa that near-future bandplans fit a worldwide 40m APRS frequency.
