... ahhh the memories keep on rolling ... and, officially christened
by Tom, W3IWI, the infamous "Surreptitious Software Society" used to
meet in the back corner of the food area of that rest stop!
I would add, though .... those "Planning(Dream) meetings" more often
involved plans that came to, if not immediate, at the very least near
future fruition. We went from that one digipeater to a network
spanning Virginia from to above Albany (NY) in a little more than a
year .... not because people were sitting back 'dreaming' but because
people were getting out and "doing." You need both and it simply won't
do to have the dreamers putting down the doers.
