Oh yes.  It originally hooked me...
After my club overview I got a request to do Saturday's Tech Fest.
Then, I've been called to say that seeing my house,
   (my D7 actually shows *in* my living room >  K9DCI-7)
 as well as the HFest, on the satellite view was a great.  
I *did* emphasize the spectrum of APRS capabilities,
 but the Satellite view is a grabber.
