What is probably happening is that the response packet that the DNS server
is returning for this query is greater than the DNS UDP limit of 512 bytes.
What this means is that the resolver must make a TCP connection to get the
full packet.  Some resolvers will do this, others won't (sometimes by policy
or firewall settings).  Some will just use the truncated results in
the UDP packet.

The query really shouldn't be returning more than 8 addresses anyway.  You
should probably setup revolving zones in the DNS servers for aprs2.net.
