Maryland has a web page that shows the speed of traffic under
most overpasses throughout the commuter roads. I wrote a
routine that would scan that web page, pull out the speeds, and
post APRS speed-post objects. Absolutely a perfect application
for the mobile commuter.

Problem is, my routine was written in Qbasic and so it would not
run real-time. I had to save the WEB page to a text file, then
let my routine run. So far I havent found anyone with real-time
on-line programming talent that would take on the project.

I would say it would only take a good programmer a few hours to
do. Probably one hour for the basic function and a few hours to
clean it up.
