or (also correct coming from that first XXXXX digi is)

XXXXX*,WIDE2-1

Kantronics TNCs
Full high network "S overlay" digi TNCs which require UIdigi ON WIDE1-1 with
UITrace WIDE,30
KPC3-3F427265-8.2
KPC3P-E6ED7265-8.2
KPC3P-9EF98131-8.3
KPC3P-34F68191-8.3

Full high network "S overlay" digi TNCs which should not have UIdigi ON
WIDE1-1 with UITrace WIDE,30
KPC3P-3CF68210-8.3
KPC3PMX-D62703122-9.0N
KPC3P-333C05116-9.0N
and later.

Full high network "S overlay" digis use
UIFlood AZ,30,ID ;substitute your state's "SS" for AZ (Arizona)
UITrace WIDE,30

Fill-in digis _only_ use UIdigi ON WIDE1-1
(no UIFlood nor UITrace)

All digis use equivalents of
CWID EVERY 0
DIGIpeat ON
DWait 0
HID OFF
Monitor OFF
MYAlias None ;not RELAY nor WIDE nor TRACE nor WIDE1-1
PASSAll OFF
UIDWait OFF

And with Kantronics digis don't forget your MYRemote and RText for remote
access to update more settings later on.

Best routine path setting for a mobile or portable station
WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1 (not WIDE1-1,WIDE2-2 nor anything WIDE3-3)
Mobile stations do not _routinely_ digipeat any packets.

Best routine path setting for a BASE or Home station
WIDE2-2 or less

Have fun! Happy New Year!
