Just for those that aren't aware what the "t/n" does... this is adding a
type filter and that the "n" means "NWS Weather and NWS Area Objects".
Look in the UI-View help for FILTER.TXT. This is easiest done by
bringing up the APRS Server Setup and hitting F1 and then scrolling down
to the FILTER.TXT link.

An updated copy of FILTER.TXT can be obtained at
http://f5vag.eu/filter_guide.html.

That is probably what most people will do, but there is an another
option. First, if they want the change to be permanent, they should
enter the new filter in the "extra logon-on text" but there is a way to
change a filter "on the fly" without disconnecting. First, you can
interrogate the port 14580 servers by sending a message on port I
(India) with "filter?" (without the quotes) to verify your current
filter. To change it, just send a message to SERVER on port I with the
new filter. It must be the complete filter... not just what you are
adding... e.g.

filter m/200 t/n -b/CW*

The change will take effect right away. If you change the filter but
don't also edit the "extra logon text" it will revert back to the old
filter if you get disconnected and reconnected.
