If APRS specific, it should at least be able to use the APRS VHF
frequencies for all regions, i.e. 144.390 and 144.800 plus the main
secondary channel for the regions.
With a tone squelch capability, users also could use Voice Alert with
CTCSS on the APRS frequency, and then a couple of simplex VHF
frequencies for all regions should be available as well for follow-up
conversations.
