We think it is UIview speaking via a VOX activated TX
since each sylable has a T/R transition.
Driving in that neighborhood is scarry to say the least
And certainly not at night when someone might be
available.
And as you can see, no one on APRS lives anywhere
near there. WIth its Syllabic T/R rate, even I'm not sure
I could find it with an HT and no antenna and normally
I can.

I'm glad to hear that you got it narrowed down, but it took a while. Having
the address would be nice, but why not just drive around the block in that
vicinity and with a handheld and after a couple of passes through the middle
of the area, just take the antenna off the HT to narrow it right down to the
last house.

You're assuming it's a ham, but if they are on APRS...

In that vicinity, I see lots of N48IYI-15, N54IYI-15 and similar
callsigns. It looks like they are all N3IYI "Bob's D7" per the status text.
Is he trying to track the signal down? I don't recall if it was mentioned
before, but how often are the voice transmissions and what is the duration?
Any voices heard, or is is synthesized text? Is it irregular or timed? VOX
perhaps?
