David,

I just checked and you neglected to enter in your country into the shipping
system and it defaulted to NO COUNTRY - which has a default shipping charge
of $23.95.

If you had entered your country in, the shipping cost would have been $10.50

There is a warning on the order page that states: "Incorrect Province/State
or Country Settings Will Cause Shipping Calculation Errors"

 Shipping Cost:  $23.95 
 Order Total:  $38.90 

I am not going to pay $23.95 shipping cost! I'll keep looking for a good low
cost unit.

Basically the same thing available as a kit for $CDN14.95 (<$US12) here
http://www.projectx.com/Kits/GelCell/UsersGuide.asp. The schematic and parts
lists are also available there if you think you can build it yourself
cheaper. I've had one for years and am very satisfied with it.
